Project Amanda, whose objective is to link thousands of Jewish children in the US and Canada with children in Israel is launching this week from Temples in the US North East.
Project Amanda is a fun, exciting and educational cultural program which uses the Internet in real time to engage children in talking, seeing and sharing their lives.
Using SKYPE, the children in Israel, the US and Canada through their local Jewish community centers will discuss a variety of values and topics including what a typical day is like in school, family, friends, shopping, playing, food, clothes, money, Judaism, politics, vacations, weather, toys, computer games and pets.
